The Company collects your Personal Data both when you access its website and when you voluntarily provide such information at a later time.

Purpose and Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data
Depending on the specific circumstances of your interaction with the Company, your personal data may be used for the following purposes:
- 2.1 Administrative purposes in order to manage your request for information.
In this case, the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, as the data is necessary to fulfill your request. Failure to provide your data may result in the inability to process your request. - 2.2 Processing of your CV for recruitment or collaboration purposes.
Personal data you provide voluntarily via email, post, or other means for employment or collaboration purposes may be processed for recruitment and evaluation activities aimed at establishing a working or collaborative relationship, and to assess the effectiveness of communication channels for job offers (data related to such channels will be processed anonymously). You may subsequently be contacted via telephone, email, or SMS, and upon our first contact, you will be provided with a specific privacy notice pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 679/2016, which will include a request for consent where required by law.
The legal basis for processing personal data voluntarily submitted by a candidate is the execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Article 111-bis of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 101/2018, which provides that in cases where CVs are sent spontaneously for employment purposes, the information required by Article 13 of the GDPR may be provided at a later stage, i.e., upon the first subsequent contact).
Disclosure and Sharing of Personal Data
Personal data will not be disclosed to the public, unless required by law or expressly authorized.
Data may only be shared with entities that:
- Act as Authorized Persons under the Controller’s authority, for the purposes described above. In this regard, C-NOVA ensures that its internal staff is properly trained on the importance of personal data protection and uses tools that adopt appropriate security measures;
- Act as Independent Data Controllers, where the disclosure is required by law;
- Act as External Data Processors, i.e., entities contractually authorized to operate on behalf of C-NOVA. These entities are bound by a service agreement and a formal appointment pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR.

Specifically regarding recruitment and personnel selection activities, personal data will not be disclosed nor subject to automated decision-making processes.

Data Retention
The data you provide will be retained for no longer than 10 years for contractual purposes (including the possible exercise of contractual rights), as well as for accounting, tax, and administrative purposes, in accordance with Article 2220 of the Italian Civil Code.
You will find all information regarding the retention of cookies we use in our Cookie Policy available on the website, and in the cookie consent management panel, which is always accessible on the site.
Data relating to recruitment and personnel selection activities, including that provided via Curriculum Vitae, will be stored for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes described above, both in physical archives and on the Company’s servers.
In particular, we will retain your data, including your CV, in both paper and electronic formats for the period strictly necessary for the purposes indicated, and in any case for no longer than 6 months, provided that the CV is periodically updated by the candidate at least every six months. If not updated, the data will be deleted within 60 days after the last six-month period without updates.
If the Company determines that your profile is not suitable for the position offered, your CV and related personal data will be deleted within a short period of time, and in any case no later than 60 days after the negative evaluation.
Upon expiry of the retention period, the data will be either deleted or anonymized.
Processing activities based on consent may be withdrawn at any time by the data subject, without any constraints.
Data Security and Confidentiality
The processing of personal data will be carried out exclusively by authorized personnel and, where applicable, by external parties formally appointed as Data Processors. Processing will be conducted in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, data minimization, and transparency, using both electronic and paper-based means.
